Timestamp is a VR escape room venue for friends, families and colleagues in Arnhem. The line-up covers VR escape games, with horror, adventure and sci-fi themes. The venue lists families, company teams and large groups among its audiences. It also hosts team building and company events. The profile gathers games, languages and booking details in one place. Indoor group activities do not get much more hands-on than a good escape game.
About
Players can solve riddles in escape rooms set in wondrous worlds, defeat monsters in adrenaline-filled action games or try a party game like Overcooked, all on powerful gaming PCs with the latest headsets. Teams of two to five work, talk and play together in a single virtual world, in an arena designed for safety and suitable from age eight. The venue sits right on the Korenmarkt in central Arnhem, easy to reach from Nijmegen, Ede and Apeldoorn, and its own café serves drinks and snacks after the game.
The games
10 games to choose from
Timestamp, on Arnhem's Korenmarkt, is an entertainment centre whose VR escape section offers ten headset games built by Arvi VR Labs. Escape titles include Alice in Wonderland, Chernobyl, Cyberpunk, Dream Hackers, House of Fear, Jungle Quest, Sanctum, Survival and The Prison, and Archer is a bow-and-arrow monster shooter. Difficulty is published per game, from easy (House of Fear, Chernobyl, Jungle Quest) and medium (Alice, Survival, Sanctum) to hard (Cyberpunk and The Prison), and several games can be played solo or with up to six players.

The experience
The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.
Atmosphere
The games transport players into very different worlds, from a candle-lit haunted cabin in the woods to a neon cyberpunk megacorporation, a Wonderland ruled by the Red Queen and a derelict monastery. The centre also has a cafe and a lively mix of activities, including laser games, karaoke and arcade, so it feels like a full day out.
Who it suits
Beginners, families, friends and colleagues. Jungle Quest, Survival and Alice are the friendliest picks for families and first-time VR players from age 10, while Sanctum (18+) and House of Fear (16+) target horror fans, and The Prison and Cyberpunk challenge experienced groups. Larger groups and parties can book arrangements for birthdays, outings and team events.
Good to know
Intensity, accessibility, booking and facilities, as the venue lists them.
House of Fear is classic horror with a flickering candle as the only light and is rated 16 and older, and Sanctum is rated 18 and older. Chernobyl is rated 13+ because of its heavy theme, while Alice in Wonderland is described as fantastical but never scary.

VR games can be reserved online, and groups of six or more can book birthdays, bachelor parties and team outings directly, with larger groups possible by phone, WhatsApp or email. Games take between one or two and six players depending on the title, and minimum ages run from 10 to 18.
