The games
7 games to choose from
Clocked-Up in central Arnhem offers two escape rooms, two outdoor city games and a trio of relaxed walking quests. In De Grootmeester you snoop around the locked study of your mysterious master, and in Movie Night you break into a house to swap the wrong film inside a Space Jam video sleeve; both run 60 minutes for two to six players and are rated four out of five for difficulty. Slag om Arnhem and Hackers Collectief are 100-minute city games, one built around a wartime veteran's secret safe and the other a race to stop a rogue quantum-computer heist, and the X-pedities are gentler 3.5-kilometre puzzle walks through Arnhem.

The experience
The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.
Atmosphere
The rooms are craft-built puzzle spaces with a playful tone, from a retro video-tape caper to a secretive workshop, while the city games send teams through the old centre with documents, props and a final safe to crack. Downloadable kids' escape games with Europe, Christmas and Halloween themes can be played at home.
Who it suits
Puzzle-minded friends, colleagues and families who like a challenge, as well as visitors who prefer a walk to a room: the city games match escape-room difficulty while the X-pedities are a laid-back wander with simpler tasks. Companies can book rooms, city games, meetings or tailor-made concepts and pay by invoice.
Good to know
Intensity, accessibility, booking and facilities, as the venue lists them.
The venue states that De Grootmeester and Movie Night are not wheelchair friendly, and Movie Night is in a basement reached only by a steep staircase.
Games are booked online and the rooms are available in Dutch and English, as is Slag om Arnhem, while Hackers Collectief is in Dutch. City games are priced per team, recommended for up to six people, suitable from age 14 and depend on the weather. Business bookings can be invoiced afterwards for a small administration fee.
