About
In Escape Room Innocent, four to nine players take on the role of one of the dome prison's most notorious inmates, sentenced to life despite years of protesting innocence, and launch an escape plan from the high-security isolation cells; it is for ages 16 and up, or 12 with family, and can be played in English. The Dome Escape is a teambuilding format set as the prison is closing: director Metzelaar makes the inmates fight for their freedom, and small groups compete to solve as many uniquely decorated cells as possible. The national monument's circular design, with cells around a central post, encloses more than 2,000 square metres and also hosts meetings, events, tours and film shoots, so warm clothing is advised.
The games
3 games to choose from
The dome-shaped national monument prison in Arnhem, opened in 1886 on the panopticon design, hosts three 90-minute games, each with 60 minutes to escape or solve the case. Escape Room Innocent casts four to nine players as infamous inmates breaking out from the isolation cells, The Dome Escape pits groups of ten to 120 against each other across themed cells for their freedom, and The Vendetta Code has detective teams of four or five decoding the cryptic cell left by an escaped crime boss.
