About
Ever since architect Hendrik Sangster's builders were seen whispering in the pub after work, rumours have said strange things were hidden in the tower, and generations of tower keepers have found unexplained clues. The last keeper, now too old to climb, has left his findings in a suitcase and asks the players to finish the search. One or two teams of up to six race to solve the puzzles spread through the tower within 60 minutes, so larger groups play it as a true battle, and those who reach the top are rewarded with a view over the Westeinderplassen and Aalsmeer. A visit takes about an hour and a half and can be extended with lunch.

The water tower hosts one game, De Torenwachter, a battle-style escape experience staged inside Aalsmeer's 1920s water tower. The story has you helping the ageing tower keeper, who can no longer climb, to unravel the mystery of strange objects the builders are said to have hidden inside. Puzzles are spread over the whole height of the tower and the goal is to reach the top; it is rated 4 out of 5 for difficulty and lasts up to an hour of play.
