About
In De Tempel van Hunahpu, student archaeologists are sent by their professor into an ancient Maya temple discovered deep in the jungle, while De Florijnen hunts for a chest of gold florins that a ship's captain buried on a deserted island and, drowning his sorrows, can no longer find. Space Lab takes the action into orbit. Alongside the rooms, the venue organises pub quizzes and big group games for company outings, bachelor parties, children's parties, anniversaries and birthdays, and it has a full bar in the heart of Mijdrecht.
The games
4 games to choose from
Turf Mijdrecht, in the centre of the town and with a full bar, has four escape rooms. De Tempel van Hunahpu sends student archaeologists into a Maya temple to find a golden statue past ancient traps. De Florijnen hunts a lost captain's buried chest of gold florins. Space Lab launches you to the ISS to finish experiments after a meteor storm, and the venue calls it the most challenging of the four. Het Koninkrijk asks you to drive an evil spirit out of a castle before it takes over the realm. Group games Trust Nobody and Chicken Games run alongside.

The experience
The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.
Atmosphere
The settings are adventurous and dressed with sound and atmosphere, ranging from jungle ruins and a pirate's wreck to a space station and a haunted castle. Difficulty is published per room, with the temple rated 4 out of 5 and Space Lab at 5 out of 5. Everyone can talk the game through afterwards in the bar.
Who it suits
Friends, colleagues and families with older children. The rooms are not intended for young children, so without adult supervision a minimum age of 14 is suggested. Large corporate groups can add Trust Nobody, a Who-Is-the-Mole style game for 8 to 24, or Chicken Games team competitions.
Good to know
Intensity, accessibility, booking and facilities, as the venue lists them.
The temple calls for a little climbing and crawling, and the sounds and decor can be too intense for young children.
