About

About Questomatica

Arcade Invasion, built over 15 months, takes two to six players into a 1990s arcade world of pixelated landscapes and retro game mechanics where they fight the invaders face to face, using sensor-driven puzzles instead of number locks, with a bonus task for especially quick teams. Wake Up! enters the dreams of Matilda, which are always happy until something goes wrong. A hint system adapts the difficulty to each group, the total visit takes up to 90 minutes including briefing, the game and a team photo, and players from age eight are welcome. Operating since 2015, the venue suits couples, friends, families and teams of up to about 12 across both rooms.

2 games to choose from

Questomatica has two sensor-driven rooms, each played for 60 minutes within a visit of up to 90, for two to six players. Arcade Invasion drops you into a neon, pixelated 90s arcade world with a bonus task for quick teams, while Wake Up! sends you through the dreamlike mind of a girl named Matilda full of riddles and illusions. Neither room uses padlocks or keys; every puzzle responds to touch, movement or sensors.

The experience

Who Questomatica suits

The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.

Atmosphere

Both rooms are playful and imaginative rather than frightening, with Arcade Invasion described as the most family-friendly and Wake Up! adding low lighting and a few atmospheric, slightly spooky moments. A briefing from a game master opens the visit, and a debrief and team photo close it.

Who it suits

Families with children from eight, curious first-timers and international visitors, since Arcade Invasion can be played in nine languages and Wake Up! in fourteen. Companies can book a team-building format with an observed feedback session, and groups of seven to twelve can play both rooms at once.

Intensity, accessibility, booking and facilities, as the venue lists them.

Intensity

  • Darkness

The venue says there are no horror elements or jump scares in either room. Wake Up! has low lighting and a few atmospheric moments, so Arcade Invasion is the better pick for anyone sensitive to that.
