About
Traces of the missing travellers have turned up in a forest near the house where they were last seen, and two to seven players start their search inside. The room is presented in English but remains playable for those who do not read it well, there is seating in every experience, and no wild physical antics are required. Groups of eight or more can book additional rooms at sister venues within walking distance, for up to about 60 people at once, and the venue on Jan Evertsenstraat opens daily from 10:00 by reservation.
The games
1 game to choose from
Escapium's Amsterdam location is built around one game, Abandoned, a 60-minute adventure in which your team searches a derelict house for three missing backpackers. The site promises a technology-heavy, story-led experience rather than old-fashioned padlocks, with booby traps and the unexpected waiting along the way.

Atmosphere
The game relies on gadgets and effects to deliver a cinematic mystery in a neglected house. Seating is provided inside the experience, and most rooms are air-conditioned, which makes it comfortable on warm days.
Who it suits
Friends, families, couples and colleagues looking for a compact, technology-driven outing. Groups of two to seven are catered for directly, and bigger parties can reserve several of the operator's other nearby rooms at once, up to 60 people.
