About
In Edison Escape, the inventor of the phonograph and light bulb has fled his house to avoid arrest, and his fellow inventors must keep the police from catching them and save his life's work. Disco Escape is set in 1985, when one discotheque is about to close and a team of disco fans must bring the dark, silent club back to life without the owner noticing. The Escape Kist is a single room built around a chest full of compartments, mechanisms and codes for up to four players, and the venue also runs De Goudroof Experience.
The games
3 games to choose from
Escaperoom Kollumerzwaag in Friesland offers three indoor games. Edison Escape takes place in 1910 at the home of Thomas Edison, who has to flee a knock at the door, leaving you, his fellow inventors, to avoid arrest before his life's work is lost. Disco Escape drops you into a dark, silent disco in 1985 that must be revived before the owner catches you. Escape Kist is a compact box of compartments, mechanisms and codes for one to four players. Outside, De Goudroof is an 18+ outdoor gold-heist experience with airsoft guns over eight hectares.

The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.
Atmosphere
The settings are playful and period-flavoured, from an inventor's parlour to a 1980s dance floor, with decor and effects that reviewers say suit each theme. The outdoor Goudroof experience swaps puzzles for tactics and airsoft duels as you try to infiltrate a guarded vault.
Who it suits
Friends and families with teenagers, colleagues and birthday groups in Friesland. Players can join from 16, or from 12 with an adult, and each room needs only a modest group of two to six. The adults-only Goudroof suits larger parties of 4 to 20 wanting action.
