About
Inside the colourful Ontsnappi bus, children open sweet machines, shift foam blocks, find the right liquorice key and dig through popcorn to unlock the hatch and escape, and groups can receive a first assignment at home beforehand. Roadtrip takes teams through a series of themed rooms inspired by iconic places and situations from a real road trip, solving riddles and cracking codes along the way; it is open to families with children from ten and to groups aged 18 and over. Both games are air-conditioned, so the temperature is comfortable all year round.
The games
2 games to choose from
Escaperoom Berkel, run by four primary-school teachers, offers two games. The Ontsnappi bus is a colourful candy-factory escape for children aged 8 to 12 in which players find codes for the sweet machines, roll liquorice through a maze, shift foam blocks and rummage in popcorn to collect ten keys and unlock the key hatch. Roadtrip is a newer room for families with children from 10 and groups of adults, taking teams through themed rooms inspired by iconic stops on a road trip, set inside a petrol station.

The experience
The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.
Atmosphere
The tone is cheerful, child-friendly and gently educational rather than frightening, with a host from the teaching profession and a sweet-themed set decoration. The Ontsnappi bus can even be driven to your own door, and for bigger children's groups a game chest with escape mini-games keeps the second half busy while the first half plays.
Who it suits
Children's birthday parties and families above all, with groups of up to six kids per session and two 45-minute shifts for seven to ten children. Adults can play too: the bus takes up to four grown-ups, and Roadtrip is open to groups aged 16 and over or to families with children from ten.
