Instead of a dry room, the game is staged in and around a pool, giving the familiar puzzle format an unusual physical setting. Escapepool is an escape room partly set in a heated swimming pool (24 °C) where real fish keep you company. Since 4 March 2025, version 2.0 tells a new story: the cargo ship Ocean Blue has lost much of its toxic load at sea, and your rescue team must neutralise the poison to avert an environmental disaster. Two to six players take part, aged 12 and over, and the game can be played in Dutch or English.
