The games
3 games to choose from
Escape Hunt Groningen turns the city's own landmarks into locked-room adventures. Three one-hour games are on offer: a mystery about the stolen KNVB cup from the FC Groningen museum, a race against a deadly virus loose in the Hortus Botanicus, and Rock's pirate treasure hunt. Each is a themed set built with plenty of detail, where the team searches, reasons and cracks clues against the clock.
The experience
The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.
Atmosphere
The rooms are carefully dressed, and the feel is closer to stepping into a well-plotted film than ticking off puzzles. Afterwards the group is welcomed into the venue's lounge and bar for a drink, a debrief and a photo moment.
Who it suits
Small groups of friends or families who want a story-led game rooted in Groningen, and colleagues looking for a team outing. The pirate game suits younger players, accompanied by an adult from age 10.
Good to know
Intensity, accessibility, booking and facilities, as the venue lists them.

Games are booked online per team of two to six. Plan around 90 minutes in total: arrive about 15 minutes early for the briefing, play for 60 minutes, then relax in the lounge afterwards.
