About
Teams buy the time they need, usually one or two hours, and work through 24 cells of fun and tricky tasks, so most groups will not finish them all and can return for the rest. No force or brute strength is ever needed, children from ten can play without an adult, and comfortable clothes and trainers are recommended, with a small changing room and lockers on site. Strike Club also offers bowling, laser games, paintball, a shooting simulator, NASCAR racing simulators, shuffleboard and arcade games, plus a restaurant with buffet and à la carte, and the nearby hotel's spa rounds off a day out.
The games
Prison Island at Strike Club in Sundsvall is called Fångarna på fortet (The Prisoners at the Fort). Teams solve big and small challenges in prison cells, testing problem-solving, teamwork and agility; each task has a time limit of between one and a half and five minutes, and the team with the most points wins back its freedom. Sessions run one or two hours, with extra hours available. It sits alongside bowling, laser game, paintball and other activities in the same centre.
