About
In Abstrakt, a famous artist plans to carry her most valuable sculpture from her studio to a gallery opening herself, a scheme that surely cannot go wrong, and its slightly gentler difficulty suits first-timers as well as small experienced teams. Fabriken traps investigators inside a long-deserted factory after the door slams behind them, while Experiment 147 gives players an hour in the study of the late botanist and chemist Fingal Thius to discover why his final project worried him so much. A game master follows every session and can offer a few hints, the puzzles themselves are language-free with introductions in Swedish or English, and the rooms are designed for adults, with minors welcome when accompanied by a majority of adults.
The games
4 games to choose from
Inlåst (Locked Up) is Växjö's first escape room, with private-group games of 60 minutes for three to seven players (four to six recommended). Rooms include Abstrakt, an art-gallery sculpture caper that suits both newcomers and veterans, Fabriken, a deserted-factory investigation that is medium difficulty but tough for first-timers, Experiment 147, a dead botanist's study, and a spaceship room. Clues and introductions can be given in Swedish or English, and the games are language-light. A play-at-home version is also available.
