About

About Escape Extinction

Players take on the role of scientists close to a breakthrough, and once inside the room they find that their research leader has hidden clues to help them succeed. Solving the riddles leads the team ever deeper into the museum's natural-history collections, with 60 minutes on the clock and about 80 minutes in total including a debrief. The game takes one private group of three to six, aged 16 and up or from 12 with adult teammates, and some tasks need everyone working together. Tickets for the museum's exhibitions are sold separately, so a visit can easily be extended.

Escape Extinction is the Swedish Museum of Natural History's own escape room. You play researchers on the verge of a breakthrough that could explain why insects are declining worldwide, and must find and rescue the evidence by following clues your research leader hid deeper and deeper into the museum's natural-history collections. Three to six players have 60 minutes, about 80 including the debrief.
