A mysterious building hides in the bushes on the quiet Taribush grounds, the doors firmly shut while drinks can already be seen chilling through the window. Instead of escaping a room, groups split into competing digging crews of five to seven and use logic, sharp observation and teamwork across the outdoor terrain to crack the door code first. The puzzles draw on the history of the adjacent Linthorst Homan canal, and the three-hour programme includes drinks and an optional buffet, which makes it a year-round option for company outings, teambuilding and friends' weekends in Drenthe.

The Break-In Room turns the escape-room idea inside out: instead of getting out of a locked room, large groups have to break into one. On the quiet grounds around De Jachthut in Wijster, teams of five to seven, known as digging crews, race to read the clues and crack the code that opens the locked hunting lodge where drinks are waiting. The story marks the 100th anniversary of the Linthorst Homan canal, hand-dug by around 500 workers, and the strict canal boss who left puzzles behind.
