About
Rumours circulate about what really happens inside ShadowLab, and teams only find out by entering. In De Vermissing van de Kolonel, two to six players aged 12 and up have 60 minutes to unravel a secret under time pressure, with the story unfolding as they progress and raising new questions along the way. A second experience is built for larger groups of 4 to 16 from age 14, and a third is planned. The venue on Oosterhoutseweg welcomes friends, families, colleagues and teams.
The games
2 games to choose from
ShadowLab Escaperoom in Rijen is built around rumours of a lab where nothing is what it seems. In De Vermissing van de Kolonel, a colonel from the nearby air base has not been seen for days since his wife died suddenly, and your team of two to six has 60 minutes to find out what is happening at ShadowLab. Red Alert is an outdoor field mission in Oosterhout for four to sixteen players, set around an abandoned-looking headquarters, and a third story is expected in 2026 or 2027.
The experience
The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.
Atmosphere
Story-first and slightly sinister: you are drawn into a narrative rather than just a pile of puzzles, and the more you find, the more questions arise. Red Alert swaps walls for open ground, searching both inside the headquarters and outside for codes, locks and traces.
Who it suits
Friends, families with teens and colleagues; groups of up to 16 can split into two competing teams in Red Alert. Both games are advised from age 14, with participation from 10 possible by arrangement.
