About
Teams of two to six use intelligence or intuition to work through clues and hidden items and reveal the secret behind the masterpiece. Nobody is actually locked in, since the door has no lock and that does not affect the game, and after a thorough explanation each group has up to an hour to find the solution. Phones and cameras go into lockers beforehand, as everything needed is inside the room. It makes an easy indoor outing for families and friends during a stay on the Wadden island of Vlieland.
The games
1 game to choose from
Escaperoom Vlieland, called Het Meesterwerk (The Masterpiece), sits inside the Vlieland Maritiem & Art shop and gallery on Dorpsstraat in Oost-Vlieland. Your team of two to six has up to an hour, after an extended briefing, to decipher clues and hidden items and uncover the secret behind the masterpiece. All you need for the game is in the room.

The atmosphere and the groups this venue has in mind.
Atmosphere
A calm island mystery rather than a haunted house: exciting, with the senses of sight, hearing and touch all involved, but not scary. There is no lock on the door, so you can leave whenever you like without harming the game, and phones and cameras go into a lockable locker first.
Who it suits
Families with children, friends and holidaymakers on Vlieland who want a rainy-day activity. Under-12s are not advised, and anyone aged 17 or under must be with an adult.
