About
The story draws on the town's own history: while Prince Frederik Hendrik's army advances to retake Grolle from the Spanish, the occupiers are plotting against him, and players must save both the prince and the town. An introductory film sets the scene, and the fully themed room demands plenty of thinking and teamwork. Groups larger than six are split into several teams, and because the venue sits in the centre of Groenlo, the game combines easily with other activities for friends, families, enthusiasts, company outings and tourists visiting the Achterhoek.
The games
1 game to choose from
Escaperoom Groenlo, in the middle of the old fortified town, has one atmospheric 60-minute game set in the year 1627. Groenlo is occupied by the Spanish while Prince Frederick Henry's troops advance to retake the city, and a murder plot threatens the prince, so your team of three to six must save him and the town. A 15-minute reception and briefing comes first, and the game is available in Dutch, German and English.
