About
The Captain William Kidd room tells of the English pirate who was hanged as a warning and whose soul is trapped on a roaming ship, luring people at night with a sea shanty and whispers of treasure. Players praise its life-like construction, hidden spaces and unexpected twists. The venue is developing further adventures, including De Schatkamer van Machu Picchu, about treasure hunter Jake McDowell and a chamber dedicated to the moon goddess Mama Quilla, and The Isle Escape Game, a competitive team race on a cannibal island.
The games
2 games to choose from
Escape Room Adventure in Valkenswaard is run by Adventure and Thrill. Its showpiece is Captain William Kidd, built around the English pirate hanged on his own ship's mast in 1701 and caged so he would never find rest. His soul still sails the vessel, luring revellers aboard at full moon with sea shanties and whispers of treasure. A second room, The Forgotten Wilderness, is also on offer, while The Treasure Chamber of Machu Picchu and The Isle Escape Game are listed as not yet available.
